The other turtle bit his penile tip. Tissues fell out. He stopped eating for 2 days. So the young couple came with a diagnosis of "rectal prolapse".
The correct diagnosis is penile traumatic injury after closer examination and purse-string suture of the anal area. It appeared to be a rectal prolapse
Follow up the 2nd day after surgery: The turtle started eating. Stitches to be taken out 3 days later.
