We welcome the educators, experts, library professionals, policy makers, independent researchers, students of other organizations, etc. to visit our Library. We specially welcome school students (in group/ batch) to visit our Library. We are also open to online meetings for any help/ open consultancy on the Library/ resources, etc. For both the modes, we request the prospective visitors to note the following points.
- Prior intimation/ appointment through email or a written application is necessary before visiting the Campus/ Library.
- School teachers/ heads wishing to arrange a study visit to our Library are required to submit a request letter well in advance so that necessary permission may be sought and physical visit to the Library may be arranged.
Important Note for researchers/alumni/students/staff/others*:
- The researchers of other University/ institute are allowed to access the University Library for up to one week. Such permission is granted to the applicant purely for research/study/reference/data collection purpose on case to case basis- upon submission of written application well in advance (along with the copy of relevant ID proof and institute’s official/ authority letter).
- Among the old students/alumni of the University, only the Lifetime Alumni members of Alumni Association of Central University of Haryana (AACUH) are allowed to access the Library/ reading room for up to one week. Such permission is granted to the applicant upon submission of the written application (along with the copy of relevant identity proof, proof of registered membership of Alumni Association) well in advance purely for research/ study/ reference /data collection purpose. The recommendation of Dean, CUH Alumni Association is required if the applicant wishes to access the Library/ Reading Room for more than one week.
- Students/ staff other than Central University of Haryana are allowed for study tour/ visit to University campus/Library/lab for one day upon obtaining prior permission from the concerned University administration/ officer/ branch. Such permission is granted upon submission of application along with the institute’s/ employer’s official letter;
- All teaching and non-teaching staff including their spouses/ children/ blood relatives of the staff are permitted to visit/ access the Library/ reading room but no distant relatives/ friends of the staff are permitted to access the Library/ reading room.
