In the mood for a delicious twist on meatloaf? How about some BBQ meatloaf?
In this how-to recipe video, Brand Ambassador Justin Grimm shows us how to make some delicious Southern-style BBQ meatloaf using the F.N. Sharp Utility Knife for ingredient prep.
Meatloaf Ingredients:
🔪 3 pounds of ground meat, all beef or a mix of beef & pork
🔪 ¾ cup breadcrumbs, panko
🔪 ⅓ cup milk, whole
🔪 2 eggs, large
🔪 ½ cup onion, diced
🔪 2 garlic cloves, chopped
🔪 2 tablespoons Worcestershire
🔪 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
🔪 1 tablespoon onion powder
🔪 1 tablespoon garlic powder
🔪 Salt & pepper to taste
🔪 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
🔪 1 tablespoon ketchup
🔪 2 tablespoons of your favorite BBQ sauce
🔪 Onion rings for serving, optional
Glaze Ingredients:
🔪 ¾ cup BBQ sauce
🔪 4 tablespoons grape jelly
BBQ Meatloaf Cooking Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Add all of the ingredients except the glaze (BBQ sauce and grape jelly) in a large mixing bowl.
3. Thoroughly mix, keeping in mind to not overwork the meat.
4. On a foil-lined baking sheet, form a meatloaf.
5. Bake for 40-50 minutes until an internal temp of 160-165℉.
6. While the meatloaf is cooking, prepare the glaze: Heat a small saute pan over medium-low heat. Add the two ingredients and cook for a few minutes until combined well. Set aside.
7. Remove meatloaf from the oven, top it off with the glaze, slice it up and enjoy topped with some onion rings!
