Bún ốc is a rice vermicelli soup which distinguish itself for having as main source of protein nothing less than snails! Typically you will have either small snail, or bigger chewier snails or a combination of both. Another great addition is snails meatball, my favourite element in this dish!
You can find Bún ốc all around Hanoi and it's a great dish to have in the streets to tame the cold weather!
