How to make a Spinning 3D Solar System Model | School Project | Tutorial by Crystal Best In this video, Chase, Jaheim, Nathanael and I will show you step by step, how to make your very own 3D Spinning Solar System model for your High School Project!! Materials you'll need to make your Solar System Model: All sizes are in INCHES. 1. 1 piece of poster board 39 x 27 ½ for the project base (I purchased white, but you can purchase black) 2. 1 piece black Bristol board 26 x 19 ½ 3. 1 piece of black cardstock 8 ½ x 11 4. Fidget Spinner 5. Foam Balls in various sizes for your planets. You would need 1 large one for the Sun, 8 for your planets, 1 for Pluto and one for the moon 6. X-acto Knife 7. Wooden/Bamboo Skewers 8. Fairy Lights 9. Glue 10. Tooth picks 11. Labels for Planets 12. Glue Gun and Glue sticks 13. Stars die cut 14. A large piece of Styrofoam 15. Poster Paints 16. Paint Brushes
