Cottage Cheese French Toast
Best way to start a day is to eat a high protein breakfast that will keep you full till lunch. Cottage cheese is an excellent source of protein and everyone loves french toast for breakfast. This recipe is wonderful combination of both-Cottage cheese french toast. You will get 11 grams of protein per slice of bread.
Ingredients
Cottage Cheese- 1/4 Cup
Egg-1
Vanilla Extract -1 tsp
Cinnamon Powder-1/4 tsp
Maple Syrup-1/2 tbsp
Bread Slices- 2
Butter/Oil-as needed for the pan/griddle
1) Blend first 5 ingredients in a blender until smooth.
2) Spread some Butter or oil onto a pan or griddle over medium heat.
3) Soak bread on either side in the mixture.
4) Cook the bread slices on your pan or griddle.
5) Let each side cook for around 2-3 minutes.
