This video shows you how to properly restart Apple's iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, or iPhone 13 Pro Max. This is commonly known as a force restart and not the usual power on / power off. This sequence will also work on the iPhone 12, iPhone 11, iPhone SE, iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, and even the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
Step 1 - Quickly press volume up and release
Step 2 - Quickly press volume down and release
Step 3 - Hold down the Sleep / Wake Button until the Apple Logo apears.
