In 2009 werd een stoomlocomotief gebruikt om een grindtrein te trekken over de Werra spoorlijn (Eisenach–Lichtenfels) in de Duitse deelstaat Thuringen. De trein werd getrokken door een stoomlocomotief uit de serie 52 (de 52 8079-7), waar later nog een tweede stoomlocomotief voor werd gezet uit de serie 41 ( de 41 1144-8) zodat er een prachtige tweespan voor de grindtrein stond met heel veel stoom!
De minder bekende stoomlocomotief uit de serie 02 is ook nog te zien met een gezelschapsreis. Jan Heyden maakte deze schitterende video met deze prachtige stoomtreinen in actie, die nu alleen exclusief hier te zien is bij 24Trains.tv!

The train was pulled by a steam locomotive from the series 52 (the 52 8079-7) and later a second steam locomotive from the series 41 (the 41 1144-8) was put in front so that the train was pulled by two beautiful steam locomotives!
