We bought this house for $20,000 online at a tax auction while 8 months pregnant with our first baby. We nicknamed it “the sh!thole”. Our plan is to clean it up, renovate and remodel it entirely ourselves, from start to finish.
Day two we focused on getting some of the scrap metal loaded to be taken in, to help offset the cost of the remodel and dump fees. We checked out the property and the roof, and finished the day mowing the high grass.
