"Coger" means different things in different countries:
In Colombia, Chile, Cuba, Ecuador, Spain, Panamá, Perú, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic, the connotation of "coger" is innocent, and refers to the act of picking something up or catching a form of transportation.
In Argentina, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, México, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Venezuela however, it means... Well, to sleep with someone lol, so don't say "voy a coger el autobús" in these countries.
