STORM Eowyn has begun to smash Scotland with 100mph winds with millions placed under a red weather warning zone, flights cancelled and schools shut nationwide.
The Met Office alert was upgraded from amber as a spell of extremely strong winds are set to hit from 10am until 5pm.
