Mom and dad have been drinking Korean coffee every single day of their life since it became available. Koreans call it 삼박자 (sam-bak-ja) which means three beats. Three beats is not the brand name. That’s the type of instant coffee which contains the trio of coffee, creamer and sugar, perfectly proportioned. Pro tip: If you want to reduce sugar, sugar is always at the bottom end of the packet so you just have to grab a little portion of the bottom when pouring in to not add as much sugar. NOTE: Dad said it’s good for you but no it’s not that good for you. 😂
Mom and dad drink this hot and iced. Today Barista dad shows how he makes it hot. 😂 The key is actually not adding too much water. For somewhat regular sized coffee at home, you definitely need 2 or more packets. Dad likes to reheat it for 15 seconds to perfect the temperature of the coffee and the cup.
All my non-Korean friends who tasted this coffee loved it! It’s exceptionally good as an iced coffee I think but it needs to be made in a very specific way.
