How about this instead?
Thirty days hath September,
April, June, and November.
All the rest have thirty-one—
Except poor Feb, who's early done.
Twenty-eight, and that's her lot,
Unless leap year says, "Why not?"
Then Feb will get one extra day,
To stretch her legs and shout, "Hooray!"
