Dicing carrots can be tricky, since they’re weird shapes.
First, peel your carrot, then cut off the tip and the root.
Cut the carrot into sections where it tapers, so your pieces are closer to uniform in shape.
Place a carrot piece in front of you and slice a small amount off of one side, so you have a flat piece.
Set the flat side down, this stops it from rolling.
Cut the carrot in 1/4” wide slices.
Stack a few slices and cut into 1/4” wide matchsticks. They should be roughly rectangular, so if you have any weird pieces you can eat them as snacks.
Cut into 1/4” pieces and you should have a very neat dice.
