I'll admit it, I was beginning to completely write off DreamWorks Animation. But now they've fired back with a new trailer from Universal Pictures of their Dog Man adaptation! Being a spin-off from the Captain Underpants universe, this looks to be a real fiesta of animation. With a faithful visual aesthetic, an electric flow of flare, and a brilliant directorial choice for the main protagonist, this looks to be a modern child's classic! And to say the least, that was not what I was expecting. There are still of course concerns bubbling beneath the surface, but we will just have to see the final result come January 2025. The fact still remains that on first impression, DreamWorks' Dog Man Trailer Shocked Me...
