Last year for my birthday I made a giant Napolitano cake, which turned out amazing! I knew I had to stick with the same theme this year and make a giant Gansito!
Gansitos, for those unfamiliar, are Mexican snack cakes, consisting of cake, a layer of strawberry jelly, and a layer of cream, then covered in chocolate and sprinkles!

INGREDIENTS:
CAKE MIX:
1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup water
½ cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
WHIPPED CREAM FILLING:
½ cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
STRAWBERRY FILLING:
1 jar seedless strawberry jam
1 package strawberry gelatin
BUTTERCREAM:
1 stick butter
2 cups powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
2-3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
CHOCOLATE GANACHE:
2 cups chocolate chips
⅓-1 cup heavy cream
