It seems like we’ve been waiting forever, but Toyota has finally given Tacoma shoppers what they have been asking for: more power and better fuel economy. On that last point however: don’t expect this to be a “bigger Maverick” because that’s not the kind of hybrid system Toyota went with. Instead they focused the new 2.4L turbocharged hybrid at capability with a hint of extra efficiency.
