Boeing's crisis has deepened as the airline manufacturer has suffered another mid-air incident.
During a flight from San Francisco, a United Airlines 737 lost an external panel.
The plane managed to land safely in Oregon.
There were 145 passengers including crew on board the 25-year-old aircraft at the time of the incident.
Boeing have since directed airlines to check all 787 Dreamliner cockpit seats for switch covers, which is suspected to be the culprit in this case.
