Curtin University Dean of Global Futures Joe Siracusa says former US President Donald Trump being charged with 34 counts of falsifying business documents is going to have “enormous consequences”.
“This particular conviction has unloosened all the ties out there,” Mr Siracusa told Sky News Australia.
Mr Siracusa said "a number" of Americans are going to "come out of the hills" to vote and show support for Donald Trump.
“This thing is going to get very strange, very quickly.”
