Horses can eat pumpkin - as long as it's fresh, and free of mold and wax. It's low sugar, so it's safe for metabolically challenged horses, like with equine metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance, or PPID (Cushing's). But pumpkin is not safe for horses with HYPP, as it's high in potassium.
