お願いします (onegai shimasu) is used in many situations. It normally means “please”, “thank you”, or even “see you” depending on the situation. I’ll show some examples:
When a cashier asks you if you need a plastic bag, お願いします。
When you start an online meeting, よろしくお願いします (yoroshiku onegai shimasu)。
“お願い” means “favor” so it might be easy for you to imagine why this phrase is used in those situations!
In casual situations, people say “お願い(onegai)” to ask something. Please give it a shot to your Japanese-speaking friends!
Anyway, thank you so much for reading this description until here!
