Tannin Remover is a ready-to-use product for removing dark spots on wood surfaces caused by a reaction to acid and water. It can also be used after water damage and in case of efflorescence on exterior wood!
Once applied, the product removes the spots in minutes and leaves the wood looking like nothing ever happened!
To use:
1. Spray Tannin Remover on the dark spot and allow several minutes for absorption.
2. Using a damp cloth, wipe away the Tannin Remover and allow to dry.
This process can be repeated for stubborn spots!
If the protective layer is affected, treat the surface area again with Oil Plus 2C.
Tannin Remover can be used on untreated, oiled, and waxed surfaces.
Please note, we do not recommend using this product on wood treated with one of our tannin-reactive products (Fumed or Smoke) as it will remove the color on the wood from the pre-treatment.
