I thought for sure we would see him get it in the book Brotherhood, which showed a *very* early fight between Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Asajj Ventress on the planet Cato Neimoidia, but he made it through unscathed. All we know is that he must have been hurt early in the war, because he already has the injury by the time of the Battle of Christophsis and The Clone Wars movie. In Star Wars Legends, the Republic comic issue 71 shows that he did get the scar from Asajj Ventress. During a duel, the dark side assassin showed off her precision by slicing Anakin’s face with her lightsaber. That was said to happen fairly late in the war in the Legends timeline, so it doesn’t line up with the canon version of events, but since we don’t have a canon answer, this is the best we’ve got. #starwars
