Nigel Farage, the new leader of Reform UK, has claimed he will be Clacton's 'champion' should he be elected to Parliament for the southeastern town.
The pledge comes as Farage was pelted with the drink as he came out of a Wetherspoons pub at the launch of his campaign to be the seaside town's MP.
