He threw for a TON of yards in the air raid offense at Texas Tech back in the day and now he’s the OC at Purdue.
I talked to him when I called one of his games on TV and loved this quote he said.
“Our offense is simple with the illusion of complexity.”
That’s really what it comes down to as a play caller — it needs to be as simple for your players as possible and let them play fast.
