The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for portions of several counties in Northeast Ohio. Earlier warnings for parts of Ashland, Huron, and Richland counties have expired. However, another remains until 6:45 p.m. for the following areas: -Ashland County (southern portion) -Holmes County (western portion) -Richland County (southeastern portion) Officials first detected the severe storms near Shelby and Fredricktown, with wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour and quarter-sized hail possible.
