You'll Need:
1 tablespoon dried lavender flowers
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup hot water
Directions:
1. Place the lavender and sugar in a bowl. Rub the lavender and sugar together with your fingers for a minute or so, until the lavender smells very fragrant.
2. Add 1 cup of hot water to the sugar mixture. Stir to dissolve sugar, set aside.
3. Allow the lavender syrup to steep for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
4. Strain the syrup into a jar.
