It's wild to watch a prodigy move forward. Sydney-based Ruel was a child when he started making music, messing around with instruments at 8 years old and hitting the recording studio by the age of 12. Now 16, the singer is not clocking impressive Spotify stream numbers and picking up awards and honors Down Under. His pop tunes have an R&B/soul vibe, and if you spend some time with Ruel's 'Ready' EP from last year, you hear the passion he puts into his performances.
