After playing the Paris Bag’Show Drum Festival Chad came to Berlin to share his decades of experience at the highest level with us.
Chad joined Frank Zappa’s band at 20 years old and went on to play on 27 albums with the virtuoso. The two of them formed a deep kinship and in the masterclass Chad shared plenty of stories from his time in the band.
The one that stood out to us was that Zappa was a drummer. Chad got to see him play once or twice at the odd soundcheck and well according to Chad, Zappa could play.
