Sri Lanka and West Indies faced each other in the 1st T20I at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium. Sri Lanka batted first and posted 179 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. West Indies started the chase well, thanks to Brandon King and Evin Lewis' half-centuries. In the end, West Indies sealed a 5-wicket victory by 19.1 overs.
