Ingredients:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 pie crust (thawed)
- 1/4 cup flour
- 4 to 5 tbsp melted butter
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp butter extract
- 1 to 2 tsp Nutmeg
Instructions:
1. Combine flour and sugar in a bowl, whisk, and mix well, then set aside.
2. In another bowl, mix the remaining ingredients (everything BUT pie crust and flour-sugar mixture).
3. Slowly add the flour-sugar mixture to the wet mixture while still mixing with a hand mixer. (Say that 3 times)
4. Once everything is incorporated, pour the mix into the pie dish (ensure the pie crust is in the dish before doing this).
5. Bake in the oven at 350°F until the pie is golden brown on top. Make sure there is no wiggle to the pie mixture and let sit 2 to 3 hours before cutting. Grandma eating this cold but Buttermilk pie for the win. #subscribe #freerecipe #nostalgia #easyrecipe
