192 - Naked Ladies
Naked Lady Lilies are fascinating plants. Also known as Amaryllis Belladonna, they have different seasons that they put their energy into leaves and flowers. Spring and Fall is when they send out leaves to absorb sunlight and created sugars through the process of photosynthesis. They store these sugars in the underground bulb of the plant. In the summer the leaves die off and the Amaryllis sends up the flowers for reproduction by the end of summer. Science is so amazing.
