It's no accident that Freddie's voice is so varied and unique. He was born with four extra teeth, called mesiodens, which caused overcrowding and pushed his front teeth forward, giving him that distinctive overbite.
Despite being self-conscious about his teeth, Freddie never got them treated. He believed the extra space in his mouth helped contribute to his incredible vocal range...And of course, it gave him that iconic look that we all remember him by.
