Folks, it’s actually here. Nearly 10 years after the previous series finale, Futurama has returned with a brand new episode, titled The Impossible Stream. After starting its life on Fox, moving direct to DVD for a few movies and then landing on cable at Comedy Central, this new season of Futurama is dropping on Hulu to likely live out the rest of its days on streaming. Or Disney+ outside the US. BUT, how was the latest revival’s premiere? Did it live up to the hype? Did it fall into some of the same pitfalls as the previous era?
