Attorneys who represent record labels and music executives named as co-defendants in a lawsuit against rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs are asking the court to sanction Tyrone Blackburn. Blackburn represents several people filing civil claims against Combs, including music producer Rodney Jones, also known as Lil Rod Jones. But the defendants’ attorneys claim Blackburn knowingly violated court rules by including allegations he knew were unfounded. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber breaks down the latest filings.
