There’s nothing worse than finishing a beautiful, handmade leather good only to scratch it, so let’s fix this! If you get a minor scratch like this on leather with a wax finish, the fix is surprisingly simple. Use a heat gun or hair dryer to heat up the leather around the scratch. Then periodically rub the scratch with your thumb and then reheat it. The wax on the leather essentially melts and fills in the scratch. Keep repeating this until the scratch is no longer visible.
