ET: The Return is set several decades after the events of the original film. Elliot, now an adult with a family of his own, is struggling to maintain a sense of wonder and imagination in a world that has become increasingly cynical and disconnected. Meanwhile, on the distant planet of Brodo Asogi, E.T.'s homeworld, a new crisis threatens the peaceful inhabitants.
