The final Halloween outfit that I'm sewing for my dolls this year!
I decided to mix things up and do a fashion design challenge. I wanted something that Makena would wear to a community fall festival or Halloween party. She is such a fashion icon in the books that I really struggled with coming up with an outfit she might think was stylish.

The 10-13 age range is really difficult for me because you don't want it to look too childish, but not too mature either. Pre-teens have such strong opinions on what's cool too. After hours of agonizing over design choices this dress is what I came up with. Let me know what you think! Is this something she would wear?
