Homemade Sloe Gin
Ingredients
400g (14 oz) sloes, frozen
200g (7 oz) white sugar
1 litre gin (I'm using 70cl)
1. Mix it all up in a sterilised jar, and leave to infuse for a minimum of 4 weeks. Stir daily for the first 5 days, to dissolve the sugar. Then weekly.
2. Then strain and enjoy.
3. I leave it until very close to Christmas, then strain into little bottles to give away.
