Note:- * Add very little amount of cold water, if you add too much water to grind malai then butter will turn soft. * In case butter/makkhan turns soft after a minute of grinding then do not worry. Just add more water and you will notice that makhan/butter floating on top.So, It's ok if it's too soft. * Grind malai on low speed (no.1 speed) and not on high speed. * it takes around 1/2 minute or 1 minute.to separate butter.and buttermilk. * After a few seconds of grinding always check if it's ready. * You can also turn malai into curd. Just add 1 glass of hot milk ,mix well then add 2 tsp of curd ,mix well and set aside for around 6-8 hours. After this, refrigerate overnight and next day ready to make butter/makkhan.
