Swift delivered an epic career-spanning performance Friday night, the first of three shows for her Eras Tour in Atlanta. Over the course of three-plus hours, the massive 44-song setlist journeyed from early hits like “Love Story” and “You Belong With Me” to Swift’s latest chart-toppers “Anti-Hero” and “Karma” from her new album, ‘Midnights.’
Throughout the night, Swift took her time guiding fans through her career, pausing between "eras" to introduce each album and talk through what each one has meant to her over the years. With each nugget of information Swift shared, it was clear from the beginning she had the audience in the palm of her hand. With 60,000-plus in attendance, Swift worked every part of her diamond-shaped catwalk, making sure fans from every angle got a good look.
Highlights from the night included a strong start with the ‘Lover’ era’s “Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince” and “Cruel Summer,” an intimate performance of “Champagne Problems” off the album “Evermore,” ‘Red’ hit “All Too Well (10 Minute Version),” and Swift’s two surprise songs of the night: “The Other Side of the Door” and “Coney Island."
