Go to websim.ai to imagine alternate internets. WebSim was inspired by world_sim, an "amorphous application" built by Nous Research that simulates a world within your command line. Amorphous applications may give you some controls, but use LLMs to fill in the gaps if you make up controls on your own. To try that project, go to worldsim.nousresearch.com We built WebSim for a Mistral Hackathon, and while it worked with Mistral Large, Claude 3 Sonnet and Opus took it to a whole new level and convinced us to keep working on it. The ideas behind this have far reaching implications and we've only just scratched the surface. We simulate possibilities all of the time in our heads, but have never had software to enhance our simulation capabilities. Also, it's straight up hilarious.
