I designed a baryonyx trap, for ARK: Survival Ascended, that's cheap, simple to build, easy to use, and works automatically, without doors, so you can trap and tame a bary safely. Baryonyx can be easily kited into the trap on foot, or on a tame, as the trap doesn't block creature pathing.
