In this video we finally try the highly requested Mettbrotchen. This is a common but unique breakfast food here in Germany. Mett is fresh ground pork that is served on a bread roll seasoned and topped with onions. It seems a little odd and scary as Americans who don't eat raw meat. The Mett is regulated and has to be eaten the same day it is prepared to prevent food borne illness. Will this odd breakfast food be our new favorite German dish or is it as disgusting as it looks?
