I'm fly fishing a creek in Wyoming and have success using a rig that went against traditional wisdom. The conditions were tough...bright blue bird skies, low, clear water with not much flow and fish everywhere. I started with subtle rigs...even went down to a size 18 dry that I had success using in Colorado when conditions got tough but quickly learned a different tactic was needed. Definitely wasn't what I expected so maybe it'll work for someone else!
