Apple pressing One of my favorite fall activities is making apple juice/cider. My family did it once at an apple orchard in Garfield Washington and have been hooked ever since. I made a press out of 2x6s one year and bought a grinder online. Each year since building it I've made some adjustments to the system. Using the drill for example. This year we collected 100 gallons worth of apples in 5 gallon buckets and we're able to press it and get just about 10 gallons of juice. I've not looked up to see if that's a good or bad ratio yet. Edit: 10% juice isn't bad but could be better. I eventually want to build a more traditional press. Once I can afford the$ 700 price tag of the metal grinder and press parts 🤣 If you are interested in the grinder here's a link Fruit grinder M18 drill acmetools.pxf.io/75L0Gd My hydro flask Personal Links:  Store and blog: 📝⚖️ Instagram - YouTube - Project_jackalope - My equipment 🎥🤳🎤 Rode II Wireless microphone Gooseneck phone holder Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra House Mercantile is a small family owned business.
