Hall of Famer Sheryl Swoopes recently made ignorant comments about women's college basketball star Caitlin Clark breaking the all-time scoring record. Appearing on Gilbert Arenas' podcast, Swoopes dismissed the record because Clark played extra years, which isn't true, then went on to say Clark "takes 40 shots a game", which also isn't true. Whether Swoopes is jealous of Clark or simply misinformed, this is a bad look for the three-time WNBA MVP. ESPN's Jay Williams recently piled on by saying Clark isn't "great."
