Today we're going to go over the rule of 3 (how to keep it 350° in your dutch oven) Get all your essentials for a Dutch oven kit: The Rule of 3 means: Take the size of your dutch oven (8", 10", 12"?) and add the number 3 to it for the amount of briquettes to add to the top of your oven. Then you subtract 3 from it for the amount of briquettes to add underneath your dutch oven. This will give you a temperature of 350° to keep your baking consistent.
