Typically wings can’t regenerate once damaged, but this might be a unique case. Hatching a hornworm into a hawk moth UPDATE! 🦋 Apparently moths cannot heal their wings after not forming properly, but my moth seems to be growing back wings. Is this possible? I’m continuing to provide a comfortable, open environment so she can fly away any time. Dw, Im capturing the whole journey for all of us! I’m excited to see how she develops. I feel like she might surprise us. I’m scared to name her because I don’t want to get too attached since they’re said to only live for a few weeks. This, to me, is proof that nature has a way of surprising us sometimes. I’m keeping a close eye on our moth’s progress—it could be a fascinating exception! #howtowithjessie #hornworm #moth #butterfly #nature #life #cycle
