Edge banding is the perfect way to hide those plywood edges! This is how I did it👇 1. Cut preglued banding to size with a little overhang. You’ll want your edge banding a little bit wider than your material. 2. With a hot iron, (no steam) press the veneer along the edge of your material. The adhesive will melt and bond to the plywood. Check it often, sometimes the veneer will slip around when the glue is still hot. With a j-roller or wooden block, apply pressure to ensure even adhesion. 3. Wait 10-15 minutes until cool. 4. Trim overhang with a file, be gentle! 5. Perfect them with a sharp blade 6. Sand lightly until smooth 7. You’re done!
